People suffering mental health problems are being failed by poor access to key community services, a watchdog says. The Healthcare Commission review of 174 mental health teams in England found gaps in out-of-hours care, talking therapies and access to information.

The good news for all of you who expressed interest is that we have now booked Dave Hall to provide a training course starting in early November. It will take place on 5 consecutive Fridays, in Usk, and transport will be offered. The training is available to service users and carers 18 – 64 living in Monmouthshire. If we are over-subscribed, then we will try to arrange a second course as quickly as possible. Don’t delay – book your place as soon as possible!
