Peer Advocacy Training

The good news for all of you who expressed interest is that we have now booked Dave Hall to provide a training course starting in early November.   It will take place on 5 consecutive Fridays, in Usk, and transport will be offered.   Application forms will be available at the MIND Drop-ins this coming week, and if you do not go to a drop-in, then if you are interested in attending either e-mail me at tony.rigby@gavowales.org.uk or phone 01291-673952 or write to PO Box 35, Usk, NP15 1YG.

The training is available to service users and carers 18 – 64 living in Monmouthshire.   If we are over-subscribed, then we will try to arrange a second course as quickly as possible.   Don’t delay – book your place as soon as possible!

Sounds great to me – is there any cost?

This training is free Alfie, and food and drinks each day are included. We try to arrange travel and this also should be free for those accepted for the course. If you want to come, send me an e-mail as soon as you can.

Just like to say that the course is going really well. Everyone has given positive feedback so far and I for one am learning new skills every week!!
